• New machines need to be vented: Turn on the machine and wait for the single and double coffee buttons to stop blinking (do not press any buttons during this time), then simply open the steam valve knob on the side of the machine and wait about 5-10 minutes until the nozzle sprays a column of water, finally turn off the steam valve knob and press the coffee button to make coffee. We recommend repeating this procedure 2-3 times to ensure the machine is fully vented.
